01Company & Factory

Who is GreenMore, and how long have you been in the industry?

GreenMore (Jiangsu GreenMore Technology Co., Ltd.) is a professional manufacturer of BIPV solar tiles and photovoltaic roof shingles. Our core team has worked in photovoltaics since 2017. Solar tiles are our core business; we also supply solar power generation systems and energy storage systems so partners can source a complete rooftop project from one supplier.

Are you a factory or a trading company? Where is your factory?

We are a direct manufacturer, not a trading company. Our factory is located in Jiangsu, China, with in-house R&D, solar tile production lines and quality control. Factory visits, video audits and third-party inspection are all welcome.

How large is your factory, and what is your annual production capacity?

Our production base covers more than 5,000 square metres, with production lines for solar tiles, solar systems and supporting energy storage systems. Current annual capacity for solar tiles is over 1 MW, and we keep expanding to meet demand.

Which markets do you mainly export to?

Our partners are located across Europe, the Middle East, the Americas and Africa, with 300+ completed projects in more than 30 countries.

What is your main product? Do you only make solar tiles?

Our core products are BIPV solar roof tiles and photovoltaic shingles; we do not position ourselves as a standard PV module factory. To support complete projects, we also provide full solar power generation systems and energy storage systems, but these are a complementary offering rather than our main focus.

02Products & Specifications

What solar tile product lines do you offer?

Three core photovoltaic shingle lines: stacked / wave tiles for sloped roofs (5°–45°), flat Tiled Type tiles for low-slope and flat roofs (0°–10°), and Triple-Arch tiles for curved and architectural roofs (curvature radius 0.5 m–5 m).

What cell technology do you use?

We offer two technology routes: CIGS thin-film cells (in production since 2019, around 20% efficiency) and BC back-contact monocrystalline cells (added in 2025, module efficiency up to 24.1%). Flat tiles are also available with monocrystalline PERC / TOPCon cells. We do not use HJT technology.

What are the power, size and weight per tile and per square metre?

It varies by model. Curved tiles are 32 W–50 W per tile (around 720 × 500 mm, 6.5 kg); flat tiles are 75 W–115 W per tile (around 1,424 × 440 mm, 10.5 kg). Installed weight is around 21–24 kg/m². Every model has a full datasheet including power per square metre.

What colours and surface finishes are available?

Standard colours include black, brick red, green and grey, with custom colours available. Tiles use laminated double tempered glass with a high-transmission front cover (over 91.5%) and an optional nano self-cleaning coating.

What is the glass and frame structure?

Tiles use laminated double glass (tempered / semi-tempered) with an aluminium alloy frame (6063-T5 on some models). The structure combines power generation, waterproofing, heat insulation and load bearing, replacing traditional roof tiles without a separate mounting rack.

Can solar tiles be mixed with traditional tiles, or directly replace an existing roof?

Yes. Tiles use a snap-on / overlapping fit and install like ordinary tiles. They can directly replace traditional ceramic tiles and can also be mixed with regular tiles on the same roof. Individual tiles can be removed and replaced without taking apart the whole roof.

What roof slope is required?

Stacked / wave tiles suit 5°–45° slopes; flat tiles suit 0°–10°; Triple-Arch tiles suit curved architectural roofs. Contact us for guidance on your specific roof geometry.

How do they perform against wind, hail, snow load and salt spray?

Tiles carry a 5,400 Pa front static load rating and withstand level-12 typhoon conditions and hail impact. The double-glass structure offers good salt-spray resistance for coastal areas (no separate salt-spray test report is available). The junction box and waterproofing reach IP67 / IP68.

What is the fire rating?

Our solar tile roof installations carry a Class C fire rating.

What are the temperature coefficients and operating temperature range?

Typical values (BC series): power temperature coefficient around −0.26%/°C and open-circuit voltage around −0.22%/°C. Operating temperature ranges from −40 °C to +85 °C. Values vary slightly by model; refer to the datasheet.

Are installation accessories included?

Rails, clamps and waterproof gaskets are quoted together with the tiles. For each project we provide a detailed quotation listing the accessories and their quantities.

03Certifications & Testing

What certifications do your solar tiles hold?

As building-integrated roofing products, our BIPV tiles are certified to EN 14782, EN 1090-1, ISO 9001, ISO 14001 and CE. These are construction-product certifications, not just PV module certifications.

Do you have IEC or TÜV certification? Can you support UKCA, VDE, AS/NZS or UL?

We hold IEC, CE and CB certifications and do not hold TÜV. Project-specific or region-specific certifications (such as UKCA, VDE, AS/NZS or UL) can be arranged on request, with timing and costs discussed per project.

What is the power tolerance? Are products inspected before shipment?

BC-series tiles ship with a positive power tolerance of 0 to +3%, and every batch passes quality inspection before shipment.

04Installation & Engineering

Do you provide installation manuals and technical guidance?

Yes. We provide an English installation manual and installation guidance to help partners complete the roof correctly.

How difficult is installation? Can regular roofers fit them?

Tiles use the same overlapping / snap-on approach as traditional tiles, so experienced roofers can install them with our guidance. We provide product and installation training for partners. Per-square-metre labour time depends on roof complexity; our engineers can estimate per project.

Can individual tiles be replaced during maintenance?

Yes. The modular design lets a single tile be removed and replaced without disturbing the surrounding roof, which keeps future maintenance simple.

05OEM, MOQ & Business Terms

Do you offer OEM/ODM and white-label production?

Yes. We support full OEM/ODM customisation, including custom product design, branding, packaging and certification support, and we allow customer branding.

What is the minimum order quantity (MOQ)?

The minimum order quantity for solar tiles is 500 tiles. Long-term partners receive priority production scheduling.

How long is a quotation valid? Which trade terms do you support?

Quotations are valid for 30 days. We quote on FOB, CIF, EXW and DDP/DAP terms and clearly state what is included (packaging, inspection, certification).

Do you allow pre-shipment inspection by us or a third party?

Yes. We welcome customer or third-party inspection (such as SGS or Intertek) and can share production photos and videos.

06Payment

Which payment methods do you accept?

We accept only two payment methods: T/T (telegraphic transfer) and L/C (letter of credit).

07Shipping, Packaging & Lead Time

What is the lead time, and how are products packed?

Standard products ship within 15–20 days of order confirmation; customised products ship within 40–50 days. Products are packed in export-grade cartons on fumigation-free pallets for safe sea transport. Quantities per pallet and per container depend on the model and actual conditions.

08Samples

Can I get samples before placing a bulk order?

Yes, but samples are not free. We provide samples for evaluation and testing before bulk production is arranged.

09Warranty & After-Sales

What warranty do you provide?

BIPV solar tiles carry a 25-year linear power warranty. All supporting products — solar systems, energy storage, inverters and accessories — carry a 3-year warranty.

What is the annual degradation rate?

For typical high-efficiency models, first-year degradation is below 1%, and below 0.4% each year after that, with a guaranteed minimum output of at least 75% at year 25.

10Compliance & Market Policy

How are certificates of origin and HS codes handled?

We provide standard export documents such as the commercial invoice and packing list, along with a certificate of origin (CO / Form A / Form E) and the declared HS code to support customs clearance.
